A few questions to ask about your move:

Posted on September 25, 2014

Whenever you are moving, there are a lot of things that are going on. Don’t forget to ask the right questions about every estimate.

1.  In what ways could your estimate change?

Although there are situations where things change about a move, a general estimate should be Binding!  As long as you have a good idea of what is going and what the expectation of your movers are there should be no change to the original estimate.  Talk to your Relocation Consultant about this.

2.  Could there be Access issues?

While moving, most of the time a Tractor Trailer truck is necessary in order to cut transportation costs and efficiently move your things.  This being said, a tractor trailer truck can have difficulties navigating small mountain roads.  Make sure this is discussed about your origin address and destination.

3.  Where will the labor come from?

We believe that the success of your move primarily comes from who walks into your home on loading day.  Where will these people come from?  Do they do this job often?

Our labor is back ground checked and drug tested.  They move people everyday and have a lot of experience in this area.

Don’t hesitate to ask your mover these questions in order to avoid issues!
